Due to the unique shape of decorative candles, they will not burn evenly, causing an excess of melted wax drip. Therefore it is highly recommended that if the user wishes to burn a decorative candle, to either use an extra large drip plate to catch the excess wax or to burn them in short intervals of less than 30 minutes each time.
